How to Change Soil Temperatures from 120F to 80F

I know it sounds impossible but with a layer of mulch and regular watering and you can lower it from 140F to 80F even! This example is in a WATERED AREA! Crazy right? That's the Central Valley of California for you! I hope this video inspires you to use mulch strategically especially as we face increasing drought and high temperatures all over the world.

Next Steps:

  • Chop & Drop your Weeds Before They go to Seed

  • Trim your trees & chip the biomass for mulch (or apply for something like ChipDrop)

  • Grow a cover crop, chop'n'drop companion planting that you can use for mulch, shade, nitrogen fixation, feed and food throughout the season.
